The Lens Within: What Shapes the Way We See

  • Virtual over Zoom (map)

Have you ever caught someone looking at you and immediately wondered what was wrong?

Maybe there was something on your face. Maybe your hair looked funny. Maybe they were judging what you were wearing.

But what did you actually know?

Only that someone was looking at you.

Everything else happened inside you.

We are constantly taking in information from the world around us - facial expressions, tone of voice, pauses, gestures, words, silence. But we don't receive that information without ourselves in the experience.

We bring our history with us.

We bring what we've learned to expect. We bring beliefs, conditioning, past experiences, fears, and all the ways we've learned to understand ourselves and other people.

If we've been conditioned to expect rejection, we may not consciously walk around thinking, People are going to reject me.

We may simply keep seeing evidence of rejection.

Someone doesn't answer our text, and we assume they're avoiding us.

Someone's expression changes while we're talking, and we assume they think we're weird.

Someone disagrees with us, and we experience their disagreement as disapproval.

The interpretation can happen so quickly that we don't experience it as an interpretation at all.

It simply feels true.

This month, as we tune the field on the feminine, receptive side of the third eye, we'll listen for what may be shaping the way we perceive what is happening around us.

Not so that we can finally see everything "correctly."

And not so that we begin distrusting our own perceptions.

Instead, we'll unwind what we find so that some of what has been operating automatically may begin to soften.

Perceptions Soften
Assumptions Loosen
Curiosity Arises
Communication Deepens

Maybe we don't have to know what that funny face meant.

As some of what has shaped our perception begins to loosen, there may simply be more room for what is happening now to be different from what happened before.

We do not experience the world without ourselves in the experience.

Perhaps as more of us becomes available to the present moment, we can meet what is here with a little less of what has already been.

Join me.

You don't have to know what has shaped the way you see. You don't have to work to unwind it. Allow your body to receive the frequency as old conditioning begins to loosen and more of you becomes available to the present moment.

Come exactly as you are. Let the field do the rest.
